Phromphong Diloksaithongdee
A Dedicated Practitioner and Preserver of Traditional Thai Sak Yant
Ajarn Non is a devoted practitioner of traditional Thai Sak Yant, sacred yantra inscriptions, Buddhist esoteric knowledge, and ancient ceremonial practices. His path is guided by a deep respect for Buddhism, gratitude toward his teachers, and a sincere commitment to preserving Thailand's spiritual traditions and cultural heritage.
Ajarn Non began studying Sak Yant and ancient Thai spiritual arts in 2006 (B.E. 2549). Driven by faith and a genuine desire to understand the wisdom passed down through generations, he has spent more than two decades learning from teachers across different traditions, including Buddhist monks and lay masters.

His studies encompass both theoretical knowledge and practical training, with an emphasis on discipline, perseverance, respect for teachers, and adherence to the principles of each tradition.
For Ajarn Non, Sak Yant is far more than the art of tattooing sacred designs onto the body. It is a living tradition deeply rooted in faith, spiritual beliefs, sacred inscriptions, ceremonial practices, and the accumulated wisdom of generations of teachers. Every yantra carries its own history and meaning, deserving to be studied, understood, and practised with respect for its traditional foundations.
He believes that preserving Sak Yant requires more than maintaining the appearance of its designs. It also means respecting the origins of each yantra, understanding the significance of its sacred inscriptions, and upholding the traditional customs and rituals associated with the art. Even after years of experience, Ajarn Non continues to seek knowledge and learn from his teachers, believing that the pursuit of wisdom is a lifelong journey.
Ajarn Non is now based at Sak Yant Sukhumvit in Bangkok. By practising in the heart of a modern, international city, he hopes to help people from Thailand and around the world discover the deeper meaning and cultural significance of this ancient tradition.
As Sak Yant gains increasing attention internationally, Ajarn Non believes it is essential to ensure that it is not viewed merely as a fashion trend or a form of body art valued only for its appearance. Its spiritual foundations, traditional practices, and cultural significance deserve equal recognition and respect.
For Ajarn Non, the responsibility of a Sak Yant practitioner extends beyond the tattoo itself. It involves honouring the teachers who came before, continuing to learn with humility, and helping ensure that traditional knowledge is passed on with care and understanding.
“As long as there are those who seek knowledge, knowledge will never come to an end. As long as there are those who preserve the arts, the wisdom of those arts will never disappear.”
